Vikas Patnaik, PhD, MBA; President
Vikas brings a wealth of industry experience, where he has served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, over a career spanning 30+ years. He has technical expertise in diverse areas ranging from thermodynamic / energy systems such as HVAC&R (including not-in-kind technologies such as absorption cooling and heating and thermionics-based combined heat and power) and refrigerant performance, safety and environmental characteristics, to the development and deployment of digital capabilities such as modeling & simulation and artificial intelligence. His leadership expertise covers all aspects of international management, noteworthy among which are the formation and running of large global teams, global partnerships and supplier development, and lean/six-sigma based global operations.
Pravash Patnaik; Advisor
Pravash is a seasoned corporate professional. His career began in the automotive industry as a mechanical engineer, focusing on manufacturing / quality processes and machine tools. After transitioning to the electronics & lighting industry, he was quickly entrusted with roles of significant responsibility, including starting a new factory for manufacturing lighting fittings, managing multiple consumer electronics factories, running the corporate purchase and logistics functions, and serving on the Board for the professional electronics product division comprising industrial electronics, business electronics & telecommunications, all during a 35 year career at the Dutch multinational giant Philips. Pravash retired from Philips as Director and Senior Vice President of the company’s Indian operations. Since retirement, he has served as Chairman of several boards of management of global companies, in industries ranging from telecom and security systems to garments and zippers, and as Advisor to the Ambassador of the Netherlands in India on economic, political and industrial affairs. Pravash recently completed his memoirs in a book titled “Counting the Stars”, authentically tracing his professional and personal journey.
